Traditional Needle Acupuncture

Acupuncture is said to be the oldest and most widespread therapy worldwide as well as a treatment with the least side effects. It is a sub-area of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Interferences in the interior of the body can be eliminated or alleviated by stimulation of defined acupuncture points on the skin.

The largest study worldwide, carried out at the Charité Berlin with a total patient population of 250,000 proved the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment for diseases accompanied by chronic pains in the head, back, and joints.

Normally, an acupuncture treatment takes between 30 and 45 minutes. A course of treatment is made up by 6 to 15 sessions. Often, the actual amount of time needed for therapy cannot be determined precisely in advance. In general, chronic illnesses require a longer period of treatment.

The selection of acupuncture points according to energetic factors and their precise needle sticking are preconditions for best acupuncture results. Therefore, expertise and utmost accuracy are required.

We only use high-quality, sterile, and individually packaged disposable needles manufactured in Germany, France, and China by companies with an international reputation for treatment.
