Orthomolecular Medicine

Linus Pauling, US-American and two times Noble Prize laureate, established the orthomolecular medicine in the 1960ies. Prevention and healing with vital substances are the focus. Those substances are vitamins, minerals, trace elements, fats, amino acids, and similar substances the human body cannot or not sufficiently produce.

A person needs 60 minerals, 16 vitamins, 12 essential amino acids, and 3 essential fatty acids per day. Those should be in the proper ratio to one another.

However, today those vital substances are no longer sufficiently available in many basic food products due to improper farming, modern mass production, and preservation techniques. Often, an unbalanced diet intensifies these problems. A biochemical imbalance develops which may trigger or sustain diseases.

Those disturbances in the metabolism of vital substances may be diagnosed with a special blood analysis. We can selectively integrate the proper nutritional supplements in our therapy concept after having analyzed your tests. How long those supplements should be taken depends largely on the severity of your deficiency. Usually, it is limited to several weeks or months.

For treatment, we only use high-quality preparations produced gently to guarantee their nutritional value and thus, their best bioavailability.
