In unspoiled nature, everything is in constant motion and is subject to permanent and gentle changes. This is the precondition for wellbeing. Interference fields (centers of interference) work against energy flowing freely and naturally within the organism or even block it. In many cases patients do not notice them. At first glance, they often do not seem to be connected with the actual course of disease. Nevertheless, they can affect the body negatively. The human body is more likely to fall ill or an already existing illness does not respond to standard treatment. Healing processes are delayed or hindered.

Such sites of infections can be caused by inflammations, e. g. devitalized or purulent teeth, chronic sinus infections, or tonsillitis. Even a scar located on the inside or outside can become a field of interference, just like material foreign to the body (e. g. amalgam fillings) and electro smog.

Examining the reflex zones on the ear allows detecting sites of interferences which subsequently can be eliminated by inserting an acupuncture needle into the corresponding points. In addition, a neural therapeutic treatment may be beneficial. It eliminates the site of interference by injecting well-directed a local anesthetic.

Centers of interference due to destroyed structures (e. g. caries), however, may not be cured by this therapy. These centers of interference must primarily be eliminated by surgery. However, the effectiveness of surgery may be supported and increased by accompanying therapeutic acupuncture sessions.
